Attitude Adventure Achievement

(a) Sensory Motor Programme (Perceptual Motor Programme PMP)
An adaptive physical education programme is offered to all Year 0-2 and some Year 3 pupils.

(b) Reading Recovery
Intensive daily tuition is available for children between 6 and 7 years who meet set criteria and are experiencing difficulties with reading.

(c) Violin Lessons (2 classes: 12.45pm - 2.45pm)
Wednesdays.. Julie Pettitt instructor. Children must have their own violin or hire one from the MOE via the school at a cost of $30.00 per year.

(d) Maori Language Extension Classes
With written parent permission, children may attend the Maori Language Extension Classes:
Mondays: 11.00am - 12.00 noon
The programme provided will result in increased knowledge and understanding of the Maori Language and Culture.

(e) Choir
Tutor: Donna Buchanan
Terms 1 and 2. Participates in South-West Zone Music Festival.

(f) Drama Club:

Terms 3 and 4
Performance at end of year.


g) "Wise-Up": Methodist Mission
After school - Wednedays 3.30pm - 5.00pm
School time programme - Term 3

(h) "Young Writers" of West Spreydon School
Monday/Tuesday - 2 full days once a term.

Mondays and Wednesdays. Effective stress-free training – all ages. No injuries. Easy to learn.
