Are we perfect? I wish. Our goal is to work closely with our parents and community. We name the problem and develop strategies to make positive change.
We have established a school wide relationship management programme which will be strengthened as we apply the principles of Restorative Practice.
We have taken a quantum leap into the digital age using data projectors, laptops, digital cameras and remote access. We continue to strengthen teaching and learning in literacy and numeracy with rich programmes like phonics, ANP/ENP, and HPP.
We already report student achievement against national levels but more importantly our students and parents know what progress they have made across the year.Our Student Led Conferences in June are a fantastic way for our students to celebrate their learning with their parents.
In November 2009 we had a thorough and successful ERO review which confirmed the improvements we have made in the past 18 months and the future focus for development in our school.
The success is credit to our fantastic staff and board.
